Pay Grade I ($55,544 to $59,466 per annum)

As the Marketing Coordinator, you will work alongside a small, collaborative team to create and execute marketing campaigns for the university with an emphasis on digital and social media marketing. The Marketing Coordinator will work to support a wide variety of university goals, including public engagement, student recruitment and reputation management.

Some Typical Duties Include:
  • At the direction of the Marketing Manager, creates and administers marketing campaigns using a variety of tools, including display and search advertising, social media and email marketing.
  • Develops and implement strategies to build audiences and increase engagement in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
  • Tracks and analyzes key performance indicators using web analytics and ad campaign data. Reports on findings and makes recommendations to improve campaign performance.
  • Creates and updates landing pages and other content on the university website.
  • Collaborates with other members of the marketing team to implement a comprehensive marketing plan that helps the university meet its recruitment, reputation and public engagement goals.
  • Coordinates with external contractors and agencies in support of marketing campaign management.
  • Writes marketing copy and other documents.
  • Performs other related duties as required.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum three years of relevant professional experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Experience creating engaging content and using social media platforms in a professional capacity.
  • Experience with pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, email marketing, landing page optimization, and lead generation techniques.
  • Experience working in the arts, creative industries or post-secondary sector considered an asset.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing industry standards, best practices and trends.
  • Exceptional organization, prioritization and time management skills.
  • Naturally curious and resourceful with a drive to take initiative and solve problems.
  • Values and demonstrates inclusivity, openness, civility and respect.
  • A genuine interest in art, design and media.
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and Google Search Console considered an asset.
