Role Overview



As our Marketing Coordinator - Social Media & Content Creator, you'll be the voice behind PowerPlay's digital presence. Your main focus will be planning, creating, and sharing engaging content across platforms to build our community, grow brand awareness, and show off the one-of-a-kind experience that is PowerPlay.

This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of marketing experience or a recent graduate with a passion for digital storytelling, social media trends, and hands-on content creation.

Key Responsibilities



Marketing Support



Campaign & Event Support

Assist with the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, themed nights, and venue events. Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and creative partners to deliver high-quality materials on time.
In-house Marketing Management

Oversee the placement and timely removal of all digital and print marketing materials within the venue to ensure brand consistency, organization, and a polished guest experience. Contribute to additional projects and responsibilities as needed to support the success of the team and company.
Research & Insights

Conduct basic competitor, trend, and local market research to support new ideas and present strategies.
Brand Ambassador

Act as a brand ambassador at events, activations, or trade shows--helping with setup, guest interaction, and brand presence.
Administrative Tasks

Assist in tracking reports, organizing files, and managing marketing supplies.
Internal Communications

Ensure all marketing initiatives, promotions, and events are clearly communicated to internal teams through regular updates, staff memos, and coordination with department leads--supporting consistent messaging and team alignment.

Social Media Management & Content Creation



Capture and Create

Plan, shoot, and edit photo and video content -- showcasing everything from gameplay and food to events and guest interactions. Develop and execute high-quality, creative designs across various mediums, ensuring all work aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives.
Storytelling

Craft creative captions, hooks, and concepts that highlight the PowerPlay experience in fun and relatable ways.
Community Engagement

Interact with our audience by responding to DMs and comments, reposting user-generated content, and monitoring trends and hashtags.
Campaign Support

Assist with influencer partnerships, giveaways, and branded campaigns--supporting ideation, outreach, and execution.
Content Calendar & Analytics

Plan and maintain the social media content calendar across multiple platforms, ensuring timely posts, and track results through detailed performance reports to guide future strategy.

Qualifications



Recent graduate or candidate with 1-2 years of experience in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid knowledge of social media platforms and content management tools Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Creative mindset with a willingness to learn and present ideas Team player with strong interpersonal skills Basic understanding of design principles and campaign execution Proficiency with design tools and digital software Commitment to maintaining high brand standards and consistency across all marketing materials and communications
