Job Summary:
The Brand Coordinator and Social Media Content Creator play a key role in shaping the company's brand identity and driving its presence across digital platforms. Blending creative storytelling with a strategic understanding of social media and branding, this role helps define the company's voice, builds meaningful engagement, and delivers compelling content that resonates with a B2B audience in the foodservice and hospitality industry.
Salary: $46,000.00 - $51,000.00 per year
Duties & Responsibilities
Partner with the marketing team to develop and execute brand strategies that align with company goals and strengthen market positioning.
Assist in creating and publishing marketing content focused on commercial kitchen equipment and restaurant supplies.
Schedule and manage product promotions, new arrivals, and seasonal campaigns across email, social media, and website banners.
Maintain and update product listings on our e-commerce platform with SEO-optimized titles, specifications, images, and descriptions.
Collaborate with the product team to highlight featured brands and categories (e.g., fryers, reach-in coolers, stainless worktables).
Research trending topics in the foodservice and hospitality industry to inform blog posts, newsletters, and social campaigns.
Support SEO strategy through keyword research and basic on-page optimization.
Monitor digital campaign performance and report on key metrics such as CTR, bounce rate, and conversion rate.
Create and manage social media content (product spotlights, customer success stories, educational posts like "How to choose the right ice machine") to grow engagement and brand awareness.
Assist with content creation for third-party marketplaces (Amazon, WebstaurantStore, eBay, etc.) when applicable.
Coordinate with external vendors, freelancers, or agencies (e.g., graphic designers, videographers) to ensure brand consistency across all creative assets.
Contribute to the planning and execution of paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads) to drive traffic and conversions.
Support email marketing by segmenting audiences, A/B testing subject lines, and optimizing for higher open and click-through rates.
Skills/Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a knack for brand storytelling.
Familiarity with SEO principles and digital marketing best practices.
Experience managing social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, or similar).
Ability to analyze campaign performance and translate data into actionable insights.
Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools.
Basic knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, GA4, or similar) to track and interpret performance data.
Understanding of content management systems (CMS) and e-commerce platforms for updating web content.
Ability to adapt brand messaging for different digital channels and audience segments.
Strong eye for design and visual consistency, even if not a designer by trade.
Nice to Have
Experience working with or marketing technical products, ideally in a B2B setting.
Familiarity with restaurant or foodservice industry terminology and equipment types.
Exposure to e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or BigCommerce.
Working knowledge of photo editing, video content creation, or product photography.
Basic understanding of B2B customer behavior and purchasing processes.
Certifications in digital marketing, SEO, or analytics platforms (Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.). Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot).
Knowledge of paid social and PPC campaign management.
