Position Overview
The Marketing Coordinator will play a vital role in expanding awareness of Senior Helpers' services and building trusted referral networks. This individual will be energized by senior care, motivated by wellness, and committed to helping seniors remain safe at home. The role is highly relationship-driven, requiring regular visits to community touch points and referral sources.
Key Responsibilities
Community outreach: Visit hospitals, clinics, senior centers, and other referral touch points to promote Senior Helpers' services.
Relationship building: Develop and nurture strong partnerships with healthcare providers, social workers, community leaders, and other referral sources.
Brand advocacy: Represent Senior Helpers with professionalism and enthusiasm, communicating our mission of senior wellness and safety.
Territory management: Maintain a consistent presence across assigned areas, ensuring referral partners feel supported and informed.
Event participation: Attend community events, health fairs, and networking opportunities to increase visibility and engagement.
Reporting & feedback: Track outreach activities, provide insights on referral trends, and recommend strategies for growth.
Qualifications
Passion for senior care and commitment to helping older adults live safely at home.
Previous experience in marketing, outreach, or community relations, ideally within healthcare or wellness sectors.
Basic understanding of British Columbia's health care system, including referral pathways and community resources.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and long-term relationships.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage a territory independently.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regular travel to referral sources.
