For more information about us, visit www.belterra.ca Who we\'re looking for Belterra is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to help us strategize and create content that will make an impact and expand our company brand. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing a content strategy to support the company\xe2\x80\x99s goals for business growth and client management. Please note although you\'ll be working remotely in this position, the right candidate must reside in or near one of the following cities in Canada: Edmonton, Calgary, or Sudbury. In order to create content for our brand and to understand our business, people, and culture, the Marketing Coordinator will need to come in to one of these offices periodically. What you\'ll be doing:

  • Working with the Executives and Senior Management to create social media communication strategy and plan content calendar.
  • Develop Content (digital/print/video) in collaboration with the management team that adheres to our approval process and aligns with our overall corporate brand strategy.
  • Manage content calendar and ensure that all deadlines are met.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices
  • Conduct SEO analysis and implement optimization strategies.
  • Develop and oversee Company\xe2\x80\x99s improvement of website content, SEO initiatives and ensure branding is consistent via all engagement platforms.Build brand awareness and recognition through positive public relations, stakeholder engagement, and build relationships in the business community.
  • Develop, track and communicate on a regular basis key KPI\xe2\x80\x99s that reflect engagement with our social media and website platforms so we can understand what content drives interest and potential revenue/hiring opportunities.
  • Manage/troubleshoot Belterra\xe2\x80\x99s website (Wordpress).
  • Manage 3rd party marketing relationships where necessary.
  • Other marketing duties and special projects as required \xe2\x80\x93 potentially assisting with company event planning as an example, or managing issuance of tradeshow booth, etc.
What we\'re looking for in the right candidate:
  • Must reside in or near one of the following cities in Canada: Edmonton, Calgary, or Sudbury and can commit to coming in to one of these office locations periodically for work.
  • Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with a variety of social media platforms to promote business brand.
  • Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in communications, new media, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge in marketing/digital content strategy and best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive, self-starter, driven, and creative
  • Team \xe2\x80\x93 oriented and ability to handle multiple projects at a time
  • Demonstrated knowledge in effective use of social media as a marketing tool
  • Excellent computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft products and website CMS (Wordpress), and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Able to work through and simplify technical knowledge
  • Ability to speak and write in French is a definite asset
  • Ability to work independently on tasks and projects
