Key Accountabilities:
We should really call this opportunity an air traffic controller, because that's what you do. You make sure all the projects get lift off the ground and make sure everyone sees what's coming in and going out in all directions as things are zooming all around. Dizzying? Yes, but you are so organized this is no biggie. And you have a great eye for details.
You breathe social media. And you will own our channels; FB, IG, Google, YouTube, Yelp, Eventbrite & Threads etc. and planning posts supporting content calendars. You not only love posting content and coming up with fun ideas, but you love experimentations to see reactions and are intrinsically driven to find and implement changes to see what moves the needle. And report on these. You don't have to be an influencer, but you will work with them.
This role Is 40% project management, 25% social media, 25% creative writing, 10% to jump on whatever comes your way
You are a champion for the customer; you always walk in their shoes and want to help them as best as you can. Part of managing our social channels is acting as front-line responder to their questions, comments, or concerns.
You like to communicate. A lot. Especially by email. You are the conduit between marketing activities and making sure the stores, internal departments, media buyers, well...basically everyone knows what we are doing, what we have changed, and why we are doing what we do.
You love schedules & detailed plans. And updating and revising promotional calendars and communicating these changes will be part of this. Changes to the plan are like life. It's always changing.
You will work very closely with the Graphic Designer, the Assistant Buyer, and the eComm Coordinator. You are part of a team that supports each other.
Working with the Graphic Designer you help to make sure requirements and deadlines are clear. Together you will also brainstorm great communications for marketing campaigns and social media.
Working with the Assistant Buyer, you will ensure you lock down what will be in the next promotion or feature and ensure you have the details about the product
All roads lead to Rome. In this case, that means the website. Working with the eComm Coordinator you make sure the website connects the marketing journey.
Are you skilled with the quill? Ok, it's definitely more of a keyboard but we're looking for some great prose from you. Writing engaging emails, social media copy, subject lines and web copy that meet brand standards and tone of voice. You should also be familiar with A/B testing for copy
You are great at coming up with engaging photos, videos, or animations, and will need to take photos at the store
Who doesn't love a party? Or at least fun events. We'll need your help to wrangle the troupes and ensure we promote all the events the stores hold. This extends to adding some calendar events to FB and IG.
You will be in regular contact with media outlets/media reps to confirm any changes in deadlines and provide them the creative they need to run campaigns with plenty of time for checks
You will also be a point person with our store's event coordinators and will need to post and/or respond to social media content some evenings and weekends.
There will be random projects too many to list here that will need your support. As everything is fluid (and we're not just talking about the wine), there will be times you will need to jump into something new to help with a project
Like any coordinator position, there is some admin support we will need for financial reporting
You love data, you want to learn what is working and what's not and want to be part of implementing solutions.
Skills:
