Job Description


As part of our Marketing and Communications Team, you will be a key part of keeping the day-to-day communication flowing while assisting the planning and coordination of ongoing campaigns and activities. You are a highly organized, detail-oriented, self-starter, who can work independently with little direction. You bring excellent project and time management skills, interpersonal collaboration, creative ideas, new perspectives, as well communication skills to this role. As the Marketing Coordinator, you\'ll have the opportunity to learn, develop and grow at the start of your communications career.

Note: This role is supported by a flexible work arrangement where the ideal candidate would spend approximately 2-3 days in the office a month as required.

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Assist the Communications & Marketing team with the planning and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, social, advertising and promotional
  • Support the planning and implementation of marketing programs
  • Provide support for Project Management (marketing execution and projects)
  • Assist in digital content updates and day-to-day management in conjunction with communications specialists and marketing leaders
  • Assist with the development and implementation of our branding and event promotion initiatives
  • Develop reports on marketing campaign reports - Google Analytics and other campaign systems
  • Provide status reports (communication production schedule) for project milestones and adjustment to schedules
  • Write and edit content for various announcements and media that is relevant, clear, easy to read and engaging
  • Perform any other duties as assigned
What qualifications are required?
  • College diploma, University degree, or equivalent experience
  • Industry courses would be an asset

What should your experience look like?
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Familiarity with using Microsoft SharePoint (an asset)
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Social Media Platform and Campaign management systems (an asset)
