Marketing Coordinator The Terry Fox Foundation \xe2\x80\x93 Edmonton Part-time ( 35 hours per week), Temporary, Contract Demonstrate your communication skills, marketing awareness and digital strengths in a not-for-profit organization with a world leading brand and reputation \xe2\x80\x93 The Terry Fox Foundation. This position will require you to develop a communication and marketing plan that is measurable and tangible so that you can showcase results upon completion of the contract. As we are rebuilding after the pandemic, this position will also showcase your ability to identify and approach potential supporters as well as encourage past teams and individuals to sign up again. The goal is for each individual and/or team is to create their own fundraising \xe2\x80\x9cTRY\xe2\x80\x9d. This year, the Terry Fox Run\xe2\x80\x99s theme is #DearTerry where Canadians are encouraged to share what Terry Fox means to them. Overall Summary: -complete \xe2\x80\x9ccold calls\xe2\x80\x9d to build event support (financial and participation) -content creation (visual and written) from local stories -build and execute a communication and marketing plan focused on reaching targets set with the Organizing Team -this position is in-person with a portion done remotely Qualifications: -Applicants must live in Edmonton area -Post-Secondary Marketing students are preferred -have knowledge of who Terry Fox was and what The Terry Fox Foundation does -Excellent communication skills, including web/social writing. Strong interpersonal skills are key. -Excellent grasp of marketing a brand with attention to detail and professionalism -project management with objective and strategies that are measurable -social media expertise (outstanding video creation and editing proficiency) -strong graphic design and photography skills -self-motivated candidate that is comfortable with working with minimal day-to-day supervision -must have current driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and access to a vehicle Per the Canada Jobs Articles of Agreement Successful applicant must be: between 16 and 30 years of age; a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred; and someone who may legally work according to the relevant Alberta legislation & regulations.
