Candidate Profile:

The Marketing Coordinator supports the regional business development team by assisting with a variety of tasks including proposal production, coordination of marketing collateral, and organization of client events. The successful candidate is committed to providing exceptional client service and has the ability to create strong working relationships with employees at every level of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with the RFP process through development of templates, typing and formatting of proposals/ marketing materials; tailoring client specific content as required.
  • Assisting with the coordination and production of proposals, which includes overall layout and organization of document; coordinating and writing text from various team members; creation of drafts and general information.
  • Assisting with writing, development and coordination of promotional pieces.
  • Preparing desktop publishing works including written content and layouts for presentations or marketing initiatives.
  • Assisting with project database maintenance.
  • Assisting with the design and coordination of promotional materials.
  • Assisting with the planning of various business development and client events.
  • Maintaining of our proposal tracking and CRM inputs.
  • Supporting our social media and internal communications channels by identifying sharing opportunities and curating content on key wins, completed projects, and notable activities for submission to our Corporate Services Group.
Professional Qualifications:

Education:
  • Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field.
Experience:
  • 1 to 2 years of related experience in a professional services environment.
  • Familiarity with the consulting engineering and architectural industry would be an asset.
Skills:
  • Working proficiency in MS Office Suite (all programs).
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign) and general graphic design principles.
  • Excellent communication, writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, time-management, and project management skills.
  • Ability to self-manage project assignments from start to finish with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and composure.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and finds ways to improve processes at every opportunity.
  • Dedication to quality and ownership of work.
  • Committed to providing exceptional client service.
  • Able to interact professionally with all levels of business personnel and build strong working relationships.
