Position Overview
We are looking for a creative and motivated
Marketing & Content Associate
to join our team at Wood N Tassel Home. If you're passionate about design, storytelling, and social media, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing local brand. This
part-time position (3-4 days per week)
is based in-store in
Abbotsford
, with occasional off-site content shoots.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Social Media
Develop and execute content strategies that align with brand and marketing goals.
Create and maintain a content calendar for Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms.
Capture and edit engaging photo and video content (reels, stories, product features, etc.).
Manage and grow social media channels through regular posting, engagement, and community interaction.
Track analytics and provide performance reports with insights and recommendations
Marketing & Brand Support
Support marketing campaigns, collaborations, and seasonal promotions.
Assist with the planning and coordination of events or photoshoots as needed.
Create digital marketing materials such as promotional graphics, eblasts, and store signage using Canva or Adobe tools.
Coordinate influencer partnerships and brand collaborations.
Website & Digital
Update product listings, images, and copy on the website when needed.
Monitor digital engagement metrics and support SEO and brand visibility efforts.
Suggest improvements for online customer experience and engagement.
Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in marketing, social media, or content creation -- experience in the retail or furniture industry is a strong advantage.
Proficiency with social media tools (Meta Business Suite, Instagram, Facebook).
Strong photography, videography, and editing skills (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite preferred).
Knowledge of AI tools and their application in content creation and marketing is important.
Creative eye for visual content and brand consistency.
Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities.
Self-motivated with a collaborative and flexible approach.
