Our Skyline Living Marketing team is searching for a Marketing Communications Manager who has a flair for storytelling, a passion for corporate communications, and strong leadership abilities. Could that be you?



As our Marketing Communications Manager, you will lead the development, creation and implementation of Skyline Living's internal and external communications, and our social media strategies. Day-to-day, you will conceptualize, write, review and edit communication pieces (advertising copy, social media posts, blog entries, press releases, award submissions, relevant industry related campaigns, etc.) to ensure a consistent brand identity and voice. Long-term, you will approach content creation and corporate communications like an Olympic event. That means seeking out the right subject matter experts to ensure you've got proper support, reviewing work collectively, then graciously receiving feedback to ensure all requirements are met, and finally, effectively project managing all steps to stick the landing.

The successful candidate will be welcomed on to an agile, collaborative and friendly marketing team, where great ideas and flawless execution go hand in hand, and where everyone focuses on our shared goal of creating meaningful value and an exceptional experience for our customers, our people and our communities.

• A mastery for storytelling and community building via written and visual communication, i.e. advanced copywriting skills for advertising and promotion. Remember, we offer a lifestyle and community - not a product.
• Proven success in developing, implementing and monitoring social and content campaigns; you get a thrill out of driving growth, user acquisition, affinity, and relevancy for consumer brands.
• Reporting and monitoring KPIs aren't just something you talk about; you rely on the information you collect to be able to make the best strategic decisions.
• Flexibility! No, we don't mean yoga, rather you are able to change gears quickly and adapt as our business needs evolve.
• The ability to adapt your communication strategies to various audiences, platforms, and situations.
• You take pride in owning your work, you are experienced and confident when it comes to copywriting, social media and communications.
• You're a strong leader that knows who to motivate, support and develop others. You've got enough experience to know that leaders are only as strong as their teams.
• You pay attention to the details, you believe that anything worth doing is worth doing right the first time. Nothing falls through the cracks on your watch!
• You a University degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations/Media Relations, or a related field.
• You have a least 5 years of experience in copywriting, social media, content marketing, communications and experience leading a team, organization or agency.
