Lead Development is strategic to our sales & new customer acquisition strategy:
Discover and develop new customer opportunity, by creating value as part of your email and telephone outbound sales process by demonstrating how customers will be more successful with our help.
Create new demand and adoption selling ESI's offerings to both new and targeted customers.
Use your technical skills to develop insight to uncover and solve customer challenges
Work in a team selling environment with Business and Distribution Partners
Think outside the box to develop ideas in the best interests of our customers, and partners.
Be responsible for attaining sales targets and rapid sales growth
Work closely with our partners to develop new programs and marketing campaigns
Conceptualize and create www landing pages in support of campaigns that will help you prospect and engage new customers
Prepare and maintain a monthly sales forecast
Qualifications:
We're looking for a self-starter with some industry experience
Component sales experience with an Electronic Distributor like Arrow Electronics, or Future Electronics, or Avnet Electronics is an asset
Software sales experience with EDA or other engineering based software products and/or services would be an asset
Experience at a Best Buy Geek Squad (like) sales and support would be an asset
Experience in marketing would be an asset
Cold calling experience would be an asset
Education:
2 year electronics technologist degree or 4-year degree BScEE or BSc Computer Science from an accredited Canadian University
or Marketing Bachelor Degree from a Canadian University
We won't be interviewing anybody with a Masters Degree
Skills:
Understanding of basic business value concepts and ability to sell that value
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to recognize trends, risks, opportunities and to develop solutions & programs.
Experience with www.salesforce.com CRM would be an asset
Comfortable cold calling from scripts our team & partners develop with and for you
Proficiency with full MS Office Suite
Outstanding verbal and written english communication skills
Ability to influence and persuade with a positive attitude to gain the confidence of both internal and external customers.
Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams & knowledge of different vertical functions.
Compensation
$60,000.00 $80,000.00 Annual Base Salary Depending on Qualifications
Quarterly MBO Plan can up to $2,500.00/QRT for achieving our mutually agreed upon goals
