Our Eastlink Marketing team is currently seeking a creative individual to join their growing team as a Digital Marketing Associate.

Who You Are:

We are seeking a collaborative and highly motivated Digital Marketing Associate to join our Online Experience team, part of our National Marketing team. This role includes day-to-day support and development of Eastlink.ca, focusing on creating web content & managing updates, maximizing website traffic to drive growth, and providing analytics reporting. You are familiar with web content best practices, love bringing forward new ideas, and enjoy building collaborative and meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You thrive in an ever changing, fast-paced environment, have strong project and time management skills, and an exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. This role works closely with the National Marketing team and IT team.

As a Digital Marketing Associate, your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage timely content updates to Eastlink web properties, adhering to and enforcing brand standards and accessibility compliance
  • Work closely with National Marketing team to produce and publish compelling content that enhances the customer experience and drives desired results
  • Follow SEO best practices and improve compatibility of content for search engines.
  • Partner with IT team to manage technical improvements to web properties
  • Work closely with the Online Experience team and larger marketing team to optimize all content for web and coach team in understanding the importance of keywords and traffic-driving language
  • Audit web properties to ensure they are up-to-date and working correctly, and troubleshoot any issues in collaboration with the IT team
  • Using Google Analytics monitor web traffic and performance, and provide website analytics reports for actionable insights
  • Provide competitive insights to gather key competitive intelligence, develop insights and report findings to key stakeholders
  • Supporting ad hoc tasks and projects as required
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Post-secondary education (University Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field is preferred)
  • Minimum 1-2 years\' web publishing experience, with ability to manage work within multiple content management systems
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and W3C accessibility guidelines
  • SEO knowledge considered an asset
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of tools
  • Experience with website migration is a bonus
