Job Title: Marketing Associate

$45,000 - $50,000 per year

35 hours per week

About Us:

Westben is a vibrant arts organization dedicated to increasing awareness and customer engagement through a variety of marketing initiatives. We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Marketing Associate to join our team.

The Marketing Associate (MA) will play a crucial role in enhancing our marketing strategies and systems. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the MA will be responsible for the following:

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy:

Assist in the research, development, design, and implementation of all marketing strategies and systems.

Digital Systems:

Maintain and operate Westben's digital systems, including websites and social media platforms. This includes content creation, digital content development, digital marketing, and digital advertising.

Analytics & Reporting:

Create and distribute regular digital marketing analytics and reports, analyze sales, and track marketing performance.

Response, Research & Development:

Research best practices and emerging trends in social media and marketing, develop consistent messaging, engage with the online community, and design in-house print marketing.

Media Plan:

Develop a media plan, schedule and disseminate press releases, and arrange media opportunities.

Group Tours:

Facilitate group tours in conjunction with the Customer Service Coordinator.

Special Events:

Support the marketing and production of special events.

Other Duties:

Adhere to Westben's policies, participate in mandatory meetings, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Marketing and Communications training and experience. Experience interacting with the public. Passion for and knowledge of the arts, culture, and/or tourism. Solid knowledge of graphic design and photography. Proficiency in MS Office and Canva Ability to learn and utilize new software applications. Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills. Joyful, collaborative personality. Self-motivated and a team player.

Compensation & Benefits:

Annual salary range of $45,000 - $50,000. Westben will cover the cost of the basic Westben Full-Time Employee Group Benefit Plan. Opportunities for professional development subject to approval.
