The Role Are you a marketing student, looking for a summer or summer-fall co-op/intern opportunity? Are you looking for a chance to help develop compelling copy and plan branded campaigns? If so, this opportunity is for you.
We are looking for a highly motivated, hard-working, self starter to join our Marketing team as a co-op student. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to learn a lot and gain experience in Marketing at a fast paced organization. Plus, we get to look at a lot of photos of cute dogs.
You Will

• Support the Marketing team by assisting the organization, execution, and deployment of ongoing marketing campaigns including paid advertising, organic social, blogs, email and general branded marketing assets
• Help develop, review and edit long form content such as blogs and other long form website copywriting
• Support on social content planning, posting and management
• Support the delivery and deployment of email content alongside our Direct to Customer Marketing team
• Offer continued support to the Marketing Team across all areas of the business including special/ad hoc projects as assigned
  
• Support future strategy by organizing social media and email KPIs to be included in reports to identify success and/or challenges each month
• Help to organize and execute content and projects alongside Content Marketing Manager and the cross-functional team
• Assist coordination of photoshoots including managing samples, dog models and timelines
• Assist on content & copy development to ensure consistency and strong execution of brand communication objectives

What You Bring

• 3rd or 4th year student in a Marketing, Management, or related field
• Enthusiastic about jumping in and working on multiple projects; both individually and within a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with numerous departments and senior management
• Strong ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems
• Experience with managing multiple projects and deadlines
  
• Competency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Willing to roll up your sleeves and support the team
• Excellent editing skills; ability to review and update copy to ensure it meets brand standards
• A detail-oriented, driven and organized individual
• Curious about ChatGPT and AI tools
• Pet-enthusiast!!!
