KMS Tools & Equipment is an industrial distributor of tools and equipment with 14 locations, an outside sales team covering many major parts of BC and Alberta, plus an active e-commerce website. We sell everything from power tools to compressors, welders, hand tools, woodworking machinery, shop equipment & much more! We are proudly Canadian owned and operated and are looking for highly motivated individuals. We are seeking applicants for a full time Graphic Design position in our Marketing Department. As a Graphic Designer at KMS Tools you will be responsible for following the company brand while producing a range of materials for the KMS Tool monthly flyer, print materials, website designs, email campaigns and social media. All KMS Tools marketing is produced in house in a fast-paced environment. An ability to manage the workflow of multiple projects, thrive in a production-based department, meet deadlines, and apply your experience in print and digital is essential. Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat
• Experience in marketing and website development
• Work with a high level of attention to detail and organization
• Have a strong ability to prioritize, plan, and multitask
• Exceptional communication and people skills
• Have a positive, friendly attitude

• Is able to work independently or as part of a team, and requires minimal supervision

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to KMS Tools brand and style in all projects
• Prepare layout, artwork, images & text for KMS Tools flyer, print and digital
• Quality check work
• Update website content, images, and product entry
• Marketing department tasks as required
• Communicate professionally and accurately with both customers and staff
• Become proficient with our operating systems \xe2\x80\x93 and other various tools
• Continually strive to gain applicable knowledge, attend training events and seminars, etc.
• Work hard to \xe2\x80\x9cget it done\xe2\x80\x9d and have fun doing so!
