Showing Agent Independent Contractor Commission Agreement
Position Overview
This agreement defines the commission arrangement for Showing Agents who assist Best Step Real Estate with leasing residential rental properties. Showing Agents help advertise, coordinate, and conduct property showings, contributing directly to successful lease outcomes.
Daily/Weekly Showing Agent Checklist
Posting & Lead Generation
o Post listings on Facebook Marketplace
o Post listings on Kijiji
o Refresh posts every 48-72 hours
o Respond to initial inquiries and pre-screen
o Direct qualified leads to Tenant Turner to book a showing
Showings
o Confirm all appointments
o Arrive 10 minutes early
o Greet visitors and verify their names
o Share highlights of the unit
o Ask if they have questions
o Provide the application link or QR code
After the Showing
o Send a follow-up text
o Log each showing:
Address*
Date*
Visitor(s) name*
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 per week
Work Location: In person
