King Heights Academy is growing and seeking a creative, motivated, and forward-thinking Marketing & Recruiting Specialist to help expand our school community and strengthen our brand presence. This dynamic role blends marketing, digital media, design, recruiting, and administrative support to attract new students and families while promoting the values and programs of King Heights Academy.
We are looking for someone who is both a thinker and a doer, a proactive self-starter who can take initiative, lead creative projects, and bring new ideas to life. The ideal candidate will be hands-on and able to take ideas from concept to completion, whether designing campaigns, capturing photos and video content, creating social media strategies, or connecting with prospective families and partners.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement creative marketing and recruiting strategies to increase awareness and generate new leads for academic and athletic programs.
Manage the school's social media presence (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) by planning, creating, and scheduling engaging posts, stories, and videos that reflect the school's brand and community.
Capture and edit photography and video content of school life, events, and programs for use across marketing materials and digital channels.
Design visually appealing promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, email campaigns, advertisements, and digital graphics using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
Support digital marketing campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, and email marketing, and track analytics to measure performance and engagement.
Assist with lead generation by following up on inquiries, scheduling tours, and maintaining communication with prospective families.
Represent King Heights Academy at events to promote enrollment opportunities and build relationships.
Maintain and update the school's website and digital content to ensure accuracy and brand consistency.
Provide administrative support to the marketing, admissions, and recruiting teams.
Collaborate with staff, coaches, and school leadership to ensure consistent messaging and support school-wide initiatives.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in marketing, recruiting, or community outreach (experience in education or athletics is an asset).
Strong graphic design, photography, and videography skills with proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
Experience managing social media accounts and creating content that drives engagement and growth.
Proven ability to take initiative, lead projects independently, and contribute strategic ideas that drive marketing and recruitment outcomes.
Excellent writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail and brand alignment.
Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple projects.
