Position Description:





Reporting to the Director, Partnerships, the Marketing and Communications Specialist will be responsible for supporting the marketing and communications initiatives as part of the corporate Communications and Marketing team. The successful incumbent will support the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, internal and external communications, and other relevant projects. This position requires an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has a passion for marketing and communications and is motivated to get things done!

Key Roles and Responsibilities:






Provide support for the day-to-day activities of the Marketing and Communications Team. Provide support for the internal programs and be the point of contact for all communications and marketing related inquiries. Maintain internal and external sites, such as the company website and SharePoint, to ensure information is always up to date and relevant. Support the creation of communication plans, common messaging templates, and communication materials for use across delivery partners ensuring the brand is appropriately represented. Anticipate, understand, and respond to the communication and marketing needs of internal and external partners to meet or exceed their expectations within organizational parameters. Ensure all communication and documents are in alignment with Amplify Care's standards and branding guidelines. Work with internal teams such as the DEI committee to coordinate content for social media posts. Support the content creation and alignment with all program/project/functional area priorities and organizational wide business development objectives. Plan and coordinate appropriate internal/external speaking opportunities and community display/exhibit opportunities and evaluate results. Track KPIs for marketing and communications initiatives, including but not limited to, online campaigns, cross-promotion activities, partnership and conference activities. Other duties as assigned.



Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:





Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience Post secondary education or equivalent professional experience Sound knowledge, understanding and application of communications concepts, strategies, and technical skills required in planning, execution and evaluation of communications plans for internal and external audiences Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms. Experience with Google Analytics 4 and Loomly is an asset Proficiency in the use of Wordpress and Pantheon as well Experience using business application software including Salesforce and Asana Strong ability to plan and write a broad range of documents and an ability to translate complex ideas and concepts into readable copy Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within the Communications and Marketing team; and across functional project teams Building and maintaining effective and productive working relationships in complex, multi-partner healthcare environments Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a diverse and fluid working environment recognizing that different opinions and backgrounds can bring strength to the tasks at hand Video marketing expertise including strategy implementation and production considered an asset Graphic design experience considered an asset
