Job description :
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Resource Development & Communications, the Marketing & Communications Coordinator will assist in promoting the programs and services offered by the Society. The successful applicant will maintain the Society's website, as it relates to registration and informational resources, and social media channels.
It is expected that the individual in this role takes strong ownership of tasks while maintaining immaculate attention to detail. The ability to independently exercise sound judgment, while protecting the Society's brand standards and interests, is essential.
This is a full-time, five (5) day per week (35 hours) position. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Until further notice, Parkinson Society BC staff are working remotely and going into the office on an as-needed basis. It is expected that the individual in this position has the ability to work from home in a suitable home office space.
This position is ideal for new graduates seeking experience in a non-profit work environment.
