In accordance with the Vision, Purpose, and Values, and strategic direction of the Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health), patient safety is a priority and a responsibility shared by everyone; as such, the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position. Reporting to the Manager, Medical Staff Recruitment, Credentialing & Privileging, this position provides leadership and subject matter expertise in recommending and implementing cost effective recruitment marketing/advertising to the Medical Staff Recruitment team and Island Health Medical Leaders. This role assists and leads the development and production of a diverse range of recruitment specific advertising, promotional material and engagement activities including but not limited to web, social media, and print. This role also provides authorship and approval for content posted on Island Health\'s Medical Staff careers section of the public website, and acts as a key resource for MS Recruitment staff working on web content with the goal of achieving a positive web experiences for end users and a positive image for Island Health. This role works with a diverse group of key stakeholders, including medical leaders, web communications, professional associations, advertising agencies, Health Match BC and MS Recruitment staff.
