As the Market Business Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the training, coaching and development of operational processes and standards for Top Sales & High Risks stores within a market of stores. You will work in partnership with District Managers and Regional Directors on providing technical direction and support on Operations to drive Company Objectives and Initiatives. This role will report directly to the Manager of Operations (Backstage) and maintain a dotted line relationship with the Regional Director (RD).

Store Operational Visits & Feedback - 50%

  • Coach, Train & Develop Store Directors, Managers & Leads relating to all in store operational processes, including but not limited to: Operations Workload & Payroll Management, Supply Chain Processes (Inventory Management & Receiving, Reverse Logistics & Off Assortment Management), Operational Policies & Processes and Backstage Standards & Optimizations
  • Provide feedback and recommended direction to District Managers (DM) & Regional Directors (RD) on district improvements to operations with focus on processes, expense control, and team development.
  • Maintain the High Shrink Program in conjunction with DM and District Loss Prevention Manager (DLPM), and ensure all operations processes are adhered to in Top Shrink Doors.
  • Provide direction to Store Leadership on Controllable Expense Optimizations, and ensure all targets are adhered to.
  • Conduct and prioritize Store Visits with focus on Top Stores in their market.
  • Strategically planning support to a specific market, answering operational questions and provide direction & support on all new operational processes and systems to store Leadership.
  • Develop Store Specific Action Plans in conjunction with the DMs & SDs on improving in store processes
  • Visit other locations identified by the RD to provide training, coaching and support.
New Store Opening Team Leader - 20%
  • Team Leader will lead the merchandising time between Turnover to Soft Opening.
  • Direct captain\'s activities relating to the receiving of supplies, product and all merchandising collateral
  • Ensure captains and all world teams are working efficiently to complete tasks
  • Document all client facing issues for the communication log
  • Manage the communication log to resolve concerns
  • Function as the onsite liaison for all Field Support Center (FSC) business partners including construction, fixture installers and Retail Operations
  • Collaborates with US New Store Opening Teams to ensure consistency across North American Processes.
  • Partner with store leadership team to ensure transparency and comfort with ongoing issues
New Leadership Training and Development - 15%
  • Train new team members relating to the Operations.
  • Conduct Operational Fundamental Trainings for New SDs & Managers.
  • Conduct trainings at District/Regional Meetings.
Other Projects - 15%
  • Provide feedback to various departments identifying inefficient or non-value-added process with a focus on store payroll & operational efficiencies
  • Primary liaison with Logistics & Distribution Teams on Store Delivery Schedules & Optimizations.
  • Participate in various projects as identified by the Senior Manager, Business Operations and Optimization & Director, Store Experience & Business Operations

  • Minimum 3 years as a high performing Manager or Store Director (internal candidates).
  • Ability to travel up to 90% of the time.
  • A valid driver\'s license and a vehicle to visit stores.
  • Comfortable with reviewing and analyzing store level financial statements (P&L, Dashboard, Smart Reporting, MCS)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to consistently and openly manage ambiguity.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching ability.
  • Proficient in Windows Programs
