Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Marine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong marine mechanical and electrical background with minimum 3 years experience working with various marine systems. As a Marine Technician with CCY, you will be responsible for installing, testing and commissioning new marine equipment in yachts and boats.

Duties

Installing mechanical and electrical equipment such as generators, HVAC, vessel plumbing, gyro stabilizers, fuel systems, domestic water systems, waste water systems, ventilation systems, inboard and outboard engines, AC and DC electrical components, navigation electronics, communication equipment, davit cranes and deck hardware. Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform tasks efficiently and effectively. Test and troubleshoot issues with marine equipment and systems, providing timely solutions. Follow engineering and install documentation. Provide accurate markups of engineering changes as required. Collaborate and communicate with team members to ensure efficient workflow. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in marine technology to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

Min 3 years experience in marine mechanical and or electrical marine systems. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Capable of reading and understanding technical drawings. Basic computer skills required. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately. Excellent attention to detail and dedication to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license may be required for transportation purposes. Capable of lifting 50 pounds.
