Marine Technician
Job Description
We are looking for a full time Marine Technician with a love of boats to join our team at our Peterborough location. We are a full service marine dealership and represent industry leading brands including Yamaha, Starcraft and Honda. If you are looking for a new opportunity and want to be part of a winning team we want to hear from you! Pay is negotiable based on experience.
Job Duties:
Pre-delivery inspection for new boats
Rigging & accessory installation
Preparing boats for summer launch and winter storage
General boat maintenance
Skills/Qualifications:
Technical understanding of marine and recreational products
Previous Yamaha and Mercury Marine experience an asset.
Team work -Work closely with the Service team, Parts and Sales
Knowledge and experience in jet drive, outboard and stern drive powered boats
Ability to work unsupervised
Ability to assist others
Tractor and forklift experience an asset
