Position Overview:

We're on the lookout for a

motivated and enthusiastic individual

to join our team as a

Marine Technician

. If you're passionate about boats, engines, and providing top-notch service, this role might be a perfect fit for you.

Responsibilities:

Provide concise and accurate service documentation using the "3 C's" (concern, cause, and correction). Document and communicate any additional work required beyond the initial scope, obtain client approval before proceeding with repairs. Submit complete parts requests to the parts department, including all relevant unit information. Proactively identify opportunities for value-added services and optimize repair orders to increase efficiency. Follow established procedures. Communicate with Service Advisor regarding repair status and any delays. Utilize vendor support, technical manuals, service bulletins and training manuals. Maintain a clean and organized work area, keeping tools and equipment in proper working order. Perform diagnostic procedures to identify issues.

Skills & Qualifications:

Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Physical capable to fulfilling job responsibilities. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong work ethic with a "can-do" attitude. Experience with Marine or Automotive repairs. Journey person automotive and Marine certificate not required but is an asset. High attention to detail. Passion for water sports and lake lifestyle. Have your own basic tools, specific tools and diagnostic equipment will be provided.
