Overview

We are seeking a skilled Marine Technician to join our team, responsible for the maintenance and repair of various marine vessels. The ideal candidate will possess three plus years experience in the trade and strong mechanical aptitude and be comfortable working with both hand and power tools. This role is essential in ensuring that our clients' boats and marine equipment are operating safely and efficiently.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance on marine engines, electrical systems, and other onboard equipment. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to determine necessary repairs. Utilize hand tools and power tools to execute repairs and installations effectively. Conduct inspections of vessels to ensure compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of work performed on each vessel. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge related to marine systems and equipment. Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers. Experience with power tools including drills, saws, and grinders. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
