We are looking for someone who is reliable, mature, energetic, and positive. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and they should be able to handle customer inquiries. They must be available with flexible schedules during the tourist season (Spring through to Fall) for day, evening, and weekend shifts. During peak season we are open from 9:00AM \xe2\x80\x93 9:00PM. Duties The maple tour tasting guide will be responsible for bringing customers (groups up to 50) on a guided tour of our maple syrup facility at Maple Leaf Place. They will provide customers with an educational experience, teaching them about the history of maple syrup, and how it is processed today. Finally they will be required to prepare and go through maple syrup tastings with customers. Skills Required Strong communication skills Energetic and positive Multilingualism, specifically French or Spanish, is considered an asset. Training will be provided for handling and inputting information about motor coach tours, proper clean-up procedures, the computerized cash register, processing transactions on debit/credit card terminals, and handling both Canadian and US currency.
