REPORTS TO: Director of Maintenance

Job Snapshot:

The responsibility of a Production Coordinator is to supervise and insure quality control are carried out in accordance with the CanWest Aerospace Inc. Procedures Manual and such other applicable Company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Manage Manufacturing Production.

QC all of aspects of manufacturing process

Coordinate vendor and customer Audits

Create and Maintain Manufacture build Standards/ Route Sheets

Coordination with procurement to meet build schedules

Coordinate with in House and Outside Engineers for document changes and or new design.

Planning work force and allocations of resources.

Maintaining Quality Policies and Procedures pertaining to Manufacturing

Collaboration with customers on Build schedules and delays to for ongoing production issues and timelines.

Ensuring work packs are being signed off and completed

Issuing C of C or Form 1 for approved products.

About You:

Completion of Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance or Avionics program Experience working in the field of Aviation is an asset

4+ years as an operations or Production Manager

An ability to learn and an interest in furthering personal growth

Team orientated with creativity and ability to see projects through

You have no issues sometimes wearing a few hats and understand the bigger picture. You see every day as an opportunity to overcome challenges that present themselves.

You are dependable and able to work on your own and as a part of a team.

You currently live in the area and have Canadian citizenship

Previous experience with Quantum/ Component Control software would be an asset.
