Our manufacturing facility is made up of a plastic extrusion and conversion plant, which is supported by a fully staffed tool and die machine shop, as well as onsite warehousing and offices. You can learn more about us by visiting our website: www.kostklip.com Job Summary Reporting to the Tool Shop Foreman, the key area of responsibility of the position is to maintain and repair manufacturing machinery, facility fixes and upkeep, also plant improvement projects while ensuring compliance with company polices and standards. The idea candidate must have at least 2 years of manufacturing related experience and be a self-starter that thrives on working independently, as well as, a team player. What We Offer The successful candidate will be supported by a fully staffed machine shop and have access to welding and fabricating equipment. Hand, power, and diagnostic tools are provided as required. Apprentices are welcome to apply - kostklip is registered with the ITA and has a well-developed program regarding funding and providing time off for training. We value experience, even if you have no formal training; relevant maintenance, repair or general industrial experience will be considered and compensated appropriately. We can provide a path to obtain red seal certification if desired. Responsibilities Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to:

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment.
  • Installing, assembly and disassembly of industrial machinery and equipment in a plastics manufacturing facility.
  • Assist with plant improvement projects, including fabrication of new equipment and machinery.
  • Lubricating, cleaning and other routine maintenance on machinery and tools.
  • Understanding the companies fire, emergency, and safety protocols and act in accordance.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a plastics manufacturing environment would be considered an asset.
