How will you contribute?
As a member of the operations team in the Senate Administration\'s Property and Services Directorate, the Maintenance Person (Heavy Duty) helps maintain the Parliamentary Precinct work environment by providing high-quality, professional service.
Reporting to the Supervisor, Maintenance Services, the Maintenance Person (Heavy Duty) carries out a variety of maintenance and cleaning tasks in public and work spaces in Senate buildings in accordance with established service standards. The incumbent may also be required to move and transport furniture, equipment, accessories and boxes, and to maintain the interior and exterior of buildings depending on the season.

The general public to staff two (2) indeterminate full-time position, and one (1) determinate full time position, in Property and Services directorate.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. or 3 p.m. to 11 p.m for the indeterminate positions.
And 3 p.m to 11 p.m for the determinate position.
This selection process may be used to staff determinate or indeterminate positions at the same level with similar requirements.
