Responsibilities

Develop plans and recommendations for equipment and correct methods of manufacturing including sequence of operations and detailed methodology of complex assemblies and installations, and detailed components Assist with make or buy proposals Generate the work instructions and bill of materials necessary for the manufacturing and assembly of components Design and develop new tooling or improve existing tooling to improve manufacturing Recommend corrective actions for areas of responsibility Investigate and add in the repair proposals for Non-Conformances that occurs during production. Perform product-ability studies from engineering drawings Employ sound project management skills to deliver projects in a timely and complete manner Work on special projects Ensure quality policies are being practiced Make recommendations and implement procedures to improve quality Initiate and maintain accurate daily and weekly activity status based on work output Perform all work in accordance with Health and Safety policies Other related duties as assigned

Skills & Experience:



Minimum 3 years experience Experience with production tooling design and implementation Experience with drawing control Experience with BOM control and maintenance Experience working in an ERP environment (e.g. Business Central) Familiarity with aviation manufacturing processes, terms and support systems Knowledgeable about engineering configuration requirements, tooling, quality control, plant safety, blueprint reading and shop math Knowledge of CAD software such as CATIA, SOLID EDGE, AUTOCAD Knowledge of good machining and fabrication practices is an asset Ability to work with their hands and understands how to use basic shop tools.

Educational or Academic Requirements:
