Job Overview:
We are looking for an individual to assist and support the production and engineering departments. This person will report to production with guidance provided by engineering and will work with production assemblers to verify bills of material and create accurate work instructions. The best candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment and have a great attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Audit/Verify current Bills of Materials
Audit/Verify Standard Hours
Update and/or create Work Instructions for compressor builds utilizing Visual Instructor
Update Visualizer assembly drawings
Support production leadership team with process improvements
Assist in Environmental Health and Safety objectives such as process instructions
Perform administrative duties as directed
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience working in Microsoft Office
Core Competencies:
Excellent attention to detail
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work productively individually and in a team setting
Preferences:
Experience working in CAD software (Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD)
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
This position will be based at our facility in Barrie, ON, with no anticipated travel.
