Job Responsibilities:
Rework and test new products, programming, processes, or tooling
Aid in processing current customer orders
Create programming for fabrication utilizing CAM software
Prepare electronic (CAD) working plans and technical drawings for various window and door projects from preliminary concepts, sketches, calculations, specification sheets, and other data
Create sub-assembly drawings, including 3D CAD drawings of detailed components, jigs, and fixtures
Create models for 3D Printing
Modify existing designs, update, and revise drawings
Assist with research and development initiatives
Collaborate, troubleshoot, and provide solutions to design and/or production issues
Assist in administering Engineering Change Notice (ECN)
Act as back-up to other positions within the Engineering process
Job Requirements
College Diploma in Engineering or equivalent with at least 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency with CAD and CAM software.
Strong understanding of engineering principles, blueprint interpretation, and manufacturing processes.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and troubleshooting abilities
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
