Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a
Manufacturing Engineer
to join our engineering team and lead operational engineering initiatives. This role is critical to ensuring reliable production performance, maintaining quality standards, and driving process improvements across our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO and customer requirements.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for production issues.
Validate and qualify raw materials; collaborate with suppliers to improve material quality.
Support CapEx projects, including justification, planning, and commissioning of new equipment.
Develop SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
Provide technical support to production teams for troubleshooting and optimization.
Train operators and technical staff on new processes and quality procedures.
Analyze production data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Promote and follow all Health & Safety and Quality Management policies.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
We welcome applicants from a variety of industrial, technical and engineering backgrounds. The ideal candidate will possess:
Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in a lean manufacturing environment with demonstrated success in process improvement, quality systems and supplier collaboration, and a
degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering OR
diploma in Engineering Technology, OR
applicable trade certification
Experience with ISO-based QMS systems and audit processes.
Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks preferred) and process analysis tools.
Strong knowledge of Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.
Self-motivated, team-oriented, and goal-driven.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Working Conditions and Physical Demand:
Combination of office and shop floor environments.
Physical activities include sitting, standing, walking, lifting (up to 30 lbs), and exposure to industrial conditions (noise, dust, vibration).
Regular use of computer systems and communication tools.
Schedule:
Full-time (Days, 8 hours)
Monday to Friday
