We are currently seeking Manufacturing Engineer to support our facility.

Shift: These roles will involve some weekend shift and/or shift rotation between weekday/weekends.

Responsibilities

Review customer engineering and specification, provide impact analysis, implementation cost, and maintain configuration management.

Compile and maintain Bill of Material.

Create/maintain manufacture instructions for in-house products.

Prepare First Article Inspection Reports per AS9102

Review Supplier Planning

Design simple tools& provide tool fabrication planning.

Departmental, shop floor, customer, and supplier support and liaison.

Create/update training material for production processes.

Perform root cause & corrective action analysis on production defects.

Continuous improvement toward zero defects.

Qualifications

Degree/Diploma in Aerospace Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant education

Must be proficient in MS Word and Excel

Must be proficient in a 3D modelling software (Solidworks/CATIA is preferred)

Must be able to read Engineering drawing.

Mus have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Knowledge of the following an asset:

AS9100 and Nadcap Configuration management Continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, etc. Sheet metal fabrication NC Programming and NC Machining GD&T
Ability to undergo security clearance process for export controls: CGD, ITAR.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $73,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
