Come Innovate Motion with usResponsible for supporting the manufacturing team with daily operational activities related to both project and non-project activities.Your responsibilities will be to:Receive inventory, store goods in proper inventory location, maintaining an orderly and efficient storeroom. Maintain Min/Max inventory levelsUnload, inspect and receive (or reject) all inbound deliveries: manage and maintain all documentation and records related to shippingKitting of project level goods both Electrical/mechanical for buildGeneration of reports for build capability and statusManagement and allocation of project leftoversShipping arrangements for cell delivery, supplier shipments and various request plant/plantInventory management for non-vendor managed items related to build, ordering, tracking, transferring to and from projects in CMS and cycle counts may be requiredManagement of AGC specific operational needsSupport manufacturing team at administrative level, includes but not limited to, Planning, Scheduling, Reports.In person attendance for project based meetings.Accept and direct visitors, General inquiries as required.Maintain vendor Managed inventory and stocking where appropriateSpecial projects for cost reductions both self-generated and assignedProcesses incorrect or damaged items; support to coordinate all outbound return shipmentsDeal with discrepancies (non-supplied, under orders, over ordersProduce and maintain all required reports and documentationPrimary contact for facilities/outside services (ie. landlord, office supplies, contractors etc.)Primary contact for service callsCoordinate continuous improvement initiativesPerform other related duties as requiredOur requirements :College graduate or relevant work experienceBackground in project management considered an assetExcellent negotiation skills, along with a mechanical aptitudeDemonstrated ability to coordinate purchasing responsibilitiesExcellent communication skills required along with good interpersonal and proven organizational abilitiesProficient with Microsoft Office platform, knowledge of Questica, CMS and ERP considered an assetPossess a high attention to detailPrevious purchasing and/or project planning experience a must, preferably in the automotive industry supporting Automation.Able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, at all levels of the organizationHigh level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientationWhat we offer :Johnson Electric offers talented people like you the opportunity to grow professionally and personally, surrounded by some of the most dedicated, innovative, and entrepreneurial colleagues you will find anywhere.
