Position Overview:



As a Manufacturer at BakeMark Canada, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality bakery products that meet our customers' needs. You will be responsible for operating machinery, maintaining product quality standards, and ensuring a smooth production process. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and food quality regulations, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.



Shifts:

Afternoon 1:30 PM - 9:30 PM, Night shift 9 AM - 5 AM



Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Operations:



Operate production equipment and machinery according to standard operating procedures. Follow recipes and instructions to produce consistent, high-quality products. Monitor production lines to ensure efficient operation and minimal downtime.

2. Quality Control:



Inspect raw materials and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards. Address any quality concerns promptly and report issues to supervisors. Assist in maintaining documentation for production and quality assurance processes.

3. Equipment Maintenance:



Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of machinery and equipment. Report any mechanical issues or needed repairs to the maintenance team.

4. Team Collaboration:



Work closely with colleagues to achieve production goals and meet deadlines. Communicate effectively to coordinate tasks and resolve operational issues.

5. Safety and Compliance:



Follow all health, safety, and food safety guidelines, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Participate in safety training and contribute to a safe work environment.

6. Inventory Management:



Assist in monitoring inventory levels of raw materials and packaging supplies. Ensure accurate recording of production quantities and usage.

Qualifications:



Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Power engineer certification is an asset. Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or food processing is an asset. Skills: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to product quality. Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. Basic mechanical aptitude to operate and troubleshoot equipment. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring physical effort. Capability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.

Hourly rate:

25.37 CAD; With Class 5 Power Engineer certification - 33.99 CAD
