Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist only (NOT CNC) to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various machining equipment. This role involves working with ONLY Manual lathes and milling machines, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring precision in manufacturing processes. The Manual Machinist will play a crucial role in producing high-quality components while adhering to safety and quality standards. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE ONLY CNC TRAINED !

Responsibilities

Operate manual lathes and milling machines to fabricate parts according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and 3D models to determine machining requirements. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as calipers to ensure accuracy. Conduct routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Collaborate with team members to optimize manufacturing processes using lean manufacturing principles. Assist in assembly tasks as needed and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Manual Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate manual equipment effectively. Familiarity with basic math concepts applicable to machining tasks. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and forklift operation is preferred. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
