The PerSIStence Theatre Company is seeking

from those interested in applying for the position of Managing Producer. This is one-year contract position, with possibility of renewal.

PerSIStence Theatre Company Inc is a non-profit, charitable organization in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada that responds to the persistent and universal need for promoting, understanding and embracing the core beliefs of feminism.

Through professional theatre and related initiatives, we work to change hearts and minds. We are an Affiliate Member of the Professional Association of Canadian Theatre (PACT), a Category A member of the Association of Professional Theatre of Newfoundland and Labrador (APTNL), and an organizational member of the Playwright's Guild of Canada and the Playwrights Atlantic Resource Centre (PARC).

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Managing Producer position will entail the following responsibilities:

Project management of company theatrical productions ?Overseeing fundraising activities, donor development, grant seeking and grant reporting. Helping prepare the annual operating budget, including providing monthly financial reporting and forecasting, cash flow management, capital spending and expenditures review and approval. Supervising the administrative staff and directing administrative operations. Acting as a representative and advocate of the organization with government agencies, community and local business groups, and arts organizations. Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $19.14-$33.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
