Managing Producer, Social Media Studio

Canada, Canada

Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL DO

We are looking to hire a talented and versatile Managing Producer to join our newly formed Social Media Content Studio.

The Social Media Content Studio is an internal agency at the intersection of BCG content/editorial development and social media channel management. Its mission is to deliver compelling and innovative storytelling for social platforms, both by adapting existing content and by originating social-only assets.

Concept development and activation happens in partnership with teams across marketing at BCG, in particular our social media, content, and digital marketing teams, to create a differentiated experience that appeals to our most important audiences across clients, potential clients, alumni and recruits as well as the broader public.

The managing producer will be responsible for leading the planning and production of creative campaigns, projects and assets. You will see these through from inception to execution, ensuring the work is of the highest standard, delivered on time and within budget. You will serve as a close thought partner to the head of the studio, deputising as necessary. You will expected to supervise the rest of the team as required, as well as lead projects of your own.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate needs to have deep expertise in social media - the various platforms, different audiences and user behaviours; storytelling and design formats; and analytics.

You will also need to be able to engage confidently with the subject matter, navigate complex business requirements, and effectively reconcile high ambition within resource, deadline and other constraints.

In this position, you will

  • Be primary thought partner to Social Studio Director to realise the ambition for the studio, fulfilling its remit and project agenda
  • Oversee the creation and execution of engaging social media content, in close collaboration with the editorial and digital side of BCG (i.e., Global Content Studio, Digital Marketing)
  • Work with careers and brand social media channels teams to uphold BCG's voice and visual identity across core social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Tik Tok) in posts, videos, graphics, motion graphics and experience
  • Draw on the content resources of BCG thought leadership, products, hosted events, SATT, company actions and imaginations of BCGers and consider creative ways to tap the technology and creative prowess of BCG in new ways
  • Coordinate the Social Media Studio team's capabilities and resources to manage and prioritise concurrent projects.
  • Track and continuously monitor direct BCG competitors and other brands (including media) for social media storytelling as inspiration for studio
  • Help develop metrics/KPIs to measure the value and impact of the created assets
