Overview of the Role
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the effective operation of the Montreal Distribution center, including shipping and receiving, e-commerce, orders preparations, 3 types of inventory control services (Direct stores delivery- Food service- Warehousing) and regular transportation and distribution coordination.

How you will make contributions that matter:


  • Follow the warehouse standards established by the operations team, while being the resource person for the various stakeholders when it comes to identifying, improving and implementing new production standards, making the quality of our customer service more efficient and maximizing our warehouse systems.

  • Provide good collaboration and good communication with all Quebec plants (Saint-L\xc3\xa9onard, Saint-Hyacinthe, Mont-Laurier, Saint-Raymond and Plessisville).

  • Maintain warehouse financial standards by providing weekly estimates, monthly reviews, and annual budget information.

  • Establish, monitor, and maintain key performance indicators and cost performance measures to promote productivity gains, cost reductions and new work methods.

  • Ensure good human resources management for all aspects of training, communication, team evaluation, as well as enforcing good OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) in accordance with CNESST and Saputo regulations and procedures.

  • Ensure good customer service and have close communication with the supply and sales teams.


You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

  • 7 to 10 years of management experience in a large-scale warehousing or distribution environment.

  • A university degree or equivalent in operations management, business, transportation and logistics or warehousing.

  • Experience in the food and beverage industry is an asset.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

  • Full understanding of inventory management techniques and their impact on the business.

  • Knowledge of Manhattan and AS400 (in-house system) warehouse management systems is an asset.

  • Strong leadership, effective communication and interpersonal skills.
