It\xe2\x80\x99s our employee promise.Our hybrid work model provides the balance between working from home and enjoying meaningful in-person interactions.Read on to see how you can shape the future, win as a team, and grow with us.About the roleReporting to the Director Financial Operations and Agile, the Manager Vendor and Asset Management is responsible for the daily and long-term management activities for Vendor and software management within the IT Infrastructure.The manager provides team leadership, develop & implement processes & tools for Vendor and asset management and oversees quality control through IT asset management lifecycle. The incumbent also provides inputs to IT leadership, IT Finance and Procurement regarding expense optimization.What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do here:Oversee and lead the Vendor and Asset Management team, ensuring they are performing their roles effectively and efficiently.Vendor Management Duties:Identify and foster relationships with key strategic vendors.Establish a 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 vendor roadmap.Develop a comprehensive understanding of major contracts, including terms, products/services, and quantities.Strategize for significant contract renewals & optimization.Initiate early discussions with contract owners, Procurement, and Asset Management.Confirm budget at the early stages with Operational and Project teams.Identify and quantify potential areas for contract improvement.Evaluate if the value derived from contracts aligns with the amount spent.Support our stakeholders in the development of their forecasting capabilities in order to manage efficiently and to optimise key contracts.Asset Management Responsibilities:Manage Infrastructure Services\xe2\x80\x99 assets lifecycle and ensure compliance using corporate tools as a single source of truth (inventory) ensuring all hardware and software are mapped to product owners.Develop and design dashboards and reports targeted to specific audience, conduct meetings and presentations to share insights and recommendations to management.Provide visibility on our current base and forecast for IFC and RSA.Conduct data analysis related to cost allocation, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and other related metrics.What you bring to the table:Bachelor degree in a related field or equivalent experienceMinimum of 8 years experience ideally in vendor & asset management (hardware & software) and prior experience managing a team.IT Infrastructure and Service knowledge & experienceKnowledge of ServiceNow is an asset.Certified Software Management Professional and /or Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional is an asset.Experience working in close collaboration with multiple stakeholders such as procurement, IT, Finance and business.Strong interpersonal skills including good oral and written communication skills.Customer focused, Analytical & Self-motivatedStrong Planning & Organizational skillsStrong leadership, coaching and management skillsFor candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.#LI-HybridSalary of the successful candidate will typically be positioned between the following range, taking into consideration a number of factors including prior experience, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, location and internal equity: $111,400.00 - $167,200.00What we offerWorking here means you\'ll be empowered to be and do your best every day.
