Description & Requirements



The Manager- Supply Chain Development will be assigned to a specific product category- and will work closely with marketing- manufacturing- procurement and R&D teams to deliver critical Supply Chain priorities within that category:
  • Innovation—Work with manufacturing- R&D- marketing- R&D and procurement to provide Integrated Supply Chain solutions to deliver new product innovations. This will involve sourcing strategy- product development- and commercialization
  • Capital—Work closely with plant engineering teams to identify and implement capital engineering projects to deliver innovation- productivity and growth. Manage the overall capital budget within the product category
  • Sourcing Strategy—Ensure appropriate product sourcing solutions (internal and external) are in place to deliver innovation and growth agenda within the product category. This will involve working with internal plants as well as current and future external manufacturers- and analysis to make sourcing decisions
  • External Manufacturing (co-pack)—Develop and implement strategy to deliver growth and innovation within the product category. Manage the day-to-day relationship with External Manufacturers ensuring output- delivery- and productivity metrics are met- closely engaging with Procurement team to ensure contractual commitments are delivered. Manage SAP transactions and information flow to EM’s. Coordinate with field quality to ensure quality policies are met
Qualifications:
  • University degree in Business- Engineering or food science
  • 6 plus years of experience in Manufacturing or Research and Development- Food or Consumer Goods industry experience would be considered an asset
  • Proven Project management experience- minimum 3 years
  • Experience and knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and Continuous Improvement methodology
  • Strong people management skills- managerial experience as we as leading without direct influence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- working cross functionally across the business
  • Superior analytical and conceptual skills
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills and exposure to senior management
