Position Summary
The Manager of Student Services is responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of all non-academic functions of the school. This position provides leadership and supervision to residence life, cafeteria services, student activities, and the Student Counselor team, ensuring the school's student services are safe, organized, and well-executed according to the school calendar.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise the Student Counselor team and residence staff to ensure quality daily service and student support.
Oversee residence operations, dining services, and student activities.
Plan and coordinate all student life events (orientation, multicultural festival, graduation, field trips, summer camp etc.).
Monitor procedures, schedules, and checklists to ensure smooth daily operations.
Handle non-academic emergencies and serve as first responder for student incidents.
Communicate regularly with staff, and students regarding student services.
Prepare operational reports and recommend improvements to the Principal/President.
Support policy development and enforcement related to student conduct, residence, and activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education, Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years' experience in student affairs, residence management, or school operations.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork abilities.
English fluency required; additional language skills (Mandarin, Vietnamese, or Spanish) are assets.
Ability to work flexible hours when required (e.g., student events or emergencies).
