Job Description


As the Manager, Strategy & Operations you will be part of the team that owns strategic planning, executes on projects of strategic importance and incubates new business opportunities.

You will own a number of initiatives to power growth to the business and unlock key behavioral customer change. Due to the high impact nature of our projects, there will be many exciting challenges for this role to take on to capitalize on valuable opportunities for Skip.

The ideal candidate is naturally curious, entrepreneurial, loves to analyze data and will think critically to make the right decisions quickly while working in a cross-functional environment.

What\xe2\x80\x99s On Your Plate:

The role will require:

Identifying and owning initiatives - build and execute data-driven strategies to enable Skips growth

Program Management - work cross functionally to own a number of high impact initiatives

Strategic Planning - working on both Skip\xe2\x80\x99s long term strategic plan and setting the strategy for new opportunities

Market research - understand changes to the macro environment and competitive landscape and identify trends that will lead to opportunities for Skip

Continuous problem solving - identify areas of improvement at Skip and take ownership to

Recipe For Success:

3+ years of experience in Consulting, Corporate Strategy, or management / strategy experience within a high-growth or new/emerging company.

Proven ownership - you have a proven track record of driving change.

Strategic thinker - you can think broadly in the context of the wider organization and Canadian market.

Critical thinker - you can analyze and evaluate situations with a view to improve/enhance.

Effective communicator - you can tell a compelling story to a broad range of audiences.

Analytical - you are comfortable modeling in Excel with SQL experience a plus.
