Job Summary

WE is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Manager, Speaker Support and Executive Projects to join the Executive Office. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to directly contribute to the organization\xe2\x80\x99s growth and fulfillment of its mission by providing frontline logistics and communications support at speaking engagements and meetings. This opportunity suits individuals who love to travel, thrive in high energy environments and are self motivated.

The position is based out of WE\xe2\x80\x99s office in Toronto.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide high level frontline logistics support for the co-founder at meetings, events, conferences and speaking engagements around the world, including at WE Day
  • Support the co-founder through frequent travel throughout North America, with the potential to travel overseas
  • Support the co-founder with a variety of tasks at events and meetings, including but not limited to: technical assistance, administrative duties, logistical support and other duties as assigned
  • Develop clear, concise and compelling speech decks
  • Create and execute a consistent and innovative social media and content strategy across multiple platforms to drive traffic and engagement
  • Develop and capture content while on the road and edit in post as required
  • Track the effectiveness of social media campaigns through analytic tools and metrics
  • Act as an ambassador for the organization at meetings, events, conferences and speaking engagements with the ability to answer questions/provide information about our international and domestic projects and impacts
  • Undertake a variety of additional tasks and projects as requested by the Executive Office
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and platforms
  • Working knowledge of video and photo editing tools
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
  • University or College graduate
  • Must be flexible and comfortable with frequent travel for work purposes, often for weeks at a time and on evenings and weekends. Travel amounts to approximately 150 days per year.
  • Strong judgment and problem solving skills with great attention to detail
  • Organized, proactive and the ability to multitask
  • Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent relationship building skills, including the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Valid G class driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and valid passport with the ability to travel anywhere in the world
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
  • Proficiency in French is an asset
