ABOUT YOUR ROLE

The Manager / Senior Manager, Investment Finance will be responsible for managing and supervising a team of 4 to 5 employees (mostly CPA) in the below area of activities.

As a Manager / Senior Manager, Investment Finance, you\xe2\x80\x99ll:

Be responsible for managing and reviewing financial information and the related controls for the Real estate asset class

Review mark to market (\xe2\x80\x9cMTM\xe2\x80\x9d) entries for Real Estate private funds and direct investments to ensure all MTM are properly reflected in the accounting system

Review various new deal analysis and support the group in referential data validation

Review and coordinate complete, accurate and timely information for accounting, reporting and management purposes for the asset class, at month end, quarter end, year-end and on an ad-hoc basis

Assist in the annual audit with respect to fair value

Collaborate with directors and senior directors of the Taxation, Legal and Investment Support departments regarding information on legal structures for the Real estate asset class

Assist in department initiative and special projects

Assist in various other tasks specific to the team\xe2\x80\x99s activities, including Ad Hoc requests

Build strong and professional relationship with our internal business partners

WHAT YOU\xe2\x80\x99LL NEED

Good understanding of private or public market investment operations is an asset

Team spirit and ability to work in a high-performance culture

Highly organized, multitasking skills and time management

Adaptability and flexibility

High degree of professionalism with strong spoken and written communication skills

Autonomy and sense of responsibility

Solid analytical, financial and accounting skills

Minimum of 10 years of related working experience

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting or business administration with a specialization in accounting

Professional designation (CPA-CA, CPA-CGA or CPA-CMA)

Experience in financial services or private investment sector such as Real Estate is an asset

Excellent organizational skills and highly capable of prioritizing

Excellent knowledge of Excel and ability to learn how to use new systems

Bilingualism: English and French (Frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa)
