The Manager, Replenishment will be leading the grocery replenishment team; they will be responsible for managing and supporting a small team of Replenishment Analysts, who will be creating Purchase Orders, and managing Store Orders, while working towards meeting our Distribution Center inventory, turns and in-stock targets and support sales plans. This is a developing role on a new and evolving Supply Chain team and will require ongoing contributions to organizational change and process redesign in the near to medium term. The Manager, Replenishment will be working closely with the Buying and Planning teams, as well as the Distribution Center to understand assortment and sales strategies, determine inventory strategies, and improve operational efficiency.

Replenishment Manager, Role Highlights

Play a leading role in the evolution of the Supply Chain team

Develop and mentor a small team of Replenishment Analysts

Foster relationships with a variety of stakeholders at various levels of management to identify gaps in process or areas of opportunity as it relates to product ordering activities

Manage the overall flow of goods into the Distribution Center and direct to Stores to meet financial targets and sales strategies and identify opportunities to balance and optimize turns, capacity and transportation efficiencies;

Overall management responsibility for the Distribution Center inventory for the Department Group, including identification and resolution of available, aged, discontinued or seasonal carryover stock;

Work with Buying Teams to ensure best choice of Store replenishment method and identify improvements to SKU parameters (i.e. vendor minimums, case quantities, etc.) to minimize cost and improve efficiencies;

Ensure that exceptions caused by vendor, store, Distribution Center or Transportation are being resolved, communicated, and that root causes are addressed, escalate when necessary;

Ensure issues preventing on-time fulfillment of store orders are being proactively identified and resolved;

Oversee adjustments to store orders due to changes in new store openings or performance;

Identify delays to advertised goods and coordinate communication of Ad Correction Notices to stores in a timely manner;

Provide regular reporting to various levels of management and Category on issues and opportunities that affect the business;

Identify and action opportunities for continuous improvement in Order Management or the broader Supply Chain scope, such as supplier performance, burdened costing, forecasting and capacity planning;

Replenishment Manager Key Qualifications

Degree in Business, Engineering or related field;

A minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain or Logistics, preferably in a retail environment;

Ability to manage, motivate and build a team

Demonstrated ability to implement cross-functional change;

Strong communication and interpersonal skills;

Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and succinctly with cross-functional groups;

Experience in process management and improvement;

Strong customer focused, action oriented and common goal mindset;

Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio (or similar);

Skilled in representing data such that it enables good decision making;

Knowledge of AS400 and of BI software, an asset;

Bilingualism (English/French) would be considered an asset.
