Responsibilities
Manage audit engagements for public company clients, ensuring quality and compliance with applicable standards.
Lead a team of approximately six professionals, providing coaching, performance feedback, and mentorship.
Review financial statements, disclosures, and working papers for accuracy and compliance.
Apply technical expertise in
US GAAP, CAS, PCAOB, and IFRS
across audit projects.
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure exceptional client service.
Collaborate with senior leadership on engagement planning, budgets, and timelines.
Identify and resolve technical accounting and auditing issues.
Contribute to firm-wide initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
Canadian CPA designation.
5+ years of external audit experience with public company clients at a CPA firm in Canada.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience managing a team in a CPA firm environment.
Current work experience at a CPA firm in Canada.
Strong technical knowledge of
US GAAP, CAS, PCAOB, and IFRS
