The Squamish Nation's Yuustway Health and Wellness Department is seeking a Primary Care Manager to lead clinical operations and ensure high-quality, culturally safe care for our community. What You'll Do


------------------

Provide clinical leadership and oversee daily operations of the Squamish Valley Primary Care Clinic. Ensure culturally appropriate, high-quality care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals. Manage budgets, funding agreements, and reporting to sustain and expand clinic services. Develop policies, workflows, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care. Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering collaboration and professional growth. Build strong relationships with Vancouver Coastal Health, FNHA, and other partners to improve service delivery. Promote community engagement through health initiatives, patient communication, and wellness programs. Ensure compliance with Squamish Nation employment policies, health & safety standards, and cultural safety practices.

What We're Looking For

A combination of education and experience in healthcare discipline, or a related field Experience in primary care, Indigenous health, or community-based services (preferred). Strong financial, operational, and strategic planning skills. Ability to navigate trauma-informed care, cultural safety, and holistic health approaches. Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, EMR systems, and data analysis. Commitment to Squamish Nation values Proven leadership: ability to inspire teams, manage conflict, and drive results. Strong financial/budget management and reporting skills. Excellent communicator--diplomatic, clear, and adept at stakeholder engagement. Tech-savvy: proficiency in Microsoft Office, EMR systems, and data analysis. Salary:

$ 94,000 - $141,000


Candidates are typically offered compensation between the beginning to the midpoint of the range. We are committed to providing a fair and equitable package that reflects the value an individual brings to the organization.
